Job Summary:

We are seeking an Inspection Engineer (Civil or Mechanical) with strong UAE experience in third-party inspections to perform independent inspections of scaffolding, lifting equipment & accessories, and PPE. The role includes review of scaffold drawings/calculations, report/certificate issuance, participation in EIAC/ENAS audits, site visits, and training/mentoring other inspection engineers, in compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 Type A.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent third-party inspections of:
• Scaffolds (mobile/fixed and related systems)
• Lifting equipment and lifting accessories
• PPE
• Perform frequent site visits across UAE to execute inspections, coordinate with client/site teams, and ensure inspection readiness and safety compliance.
• Verify compliance with applicable UAE regulations/standards, manufacturer requirements, approved documents, and internal procedures.
• Review scaffold design drawings, erection details, and load/stability/structural calculations (where applicable).
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17020, company Quality Management System, and Type A independence/impartiality requirements.
• Face and support EIAC/ENAS technical audits/assessments (including witness audits).
• Support development/improvement of technical inspection/test methods where applicable (procedures, checklists, acceptance criteria, work instructions) aligned with accreditation requirements.
• Train and mentor other inspection engineers to standardize inspection practices, improve reporting quality, and develop competency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 6 years total experience(in which min 2-3 years experience with a third-party inspection body)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of scaffolding, lifting equipment & accessories, and PPE inspections
• Proven capability to review engineering drawings and structural calculations
• Mandatory: Candidate must have faced EIAC/ENAS audits/assessments
• Strong technical reporting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple site activities, and maintain professional integrity

Preferred

• UAE Driving License

Pay: From AED4,500.00 per month
