Senior Engineering Team Leader cum Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and responsible Senior Engineering Team Leader / Operations Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate must have strong leadership capabilities, extensive UAE consultancy experience, and the ability to manage operations, technical coordination, and authority approvals across multiple projects and departments.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead, supervise, and evaluate performance across all departments within the company

· Organize daily workflow, assign responsibilities, and ensure projects are progressing according to schedule and company standards

· Coordinate effectively between architects, engineers, draftsmen, site teams, authorities, and clients

· Review project status, monitor team productivity, and ensure timely completion of submissions and approvals

· Nominate and allocate architects and engineering staff according to project requirements and workload

· Handle overall project coordination from design stage up to authority approvals and project execution

· Ensure proper communication and coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders

· Assist management in operational planning, decision-making, and company development strategies

· Monitor quality control, technical compliance, and adherence to Dubai regulations and authority requirements

· Resolve technical and operational issues efficiently and professionally

Required Experience & Skills:

· Minimum several years of UAE experience within an Engineering Consultancy company in Dubai

· Strong knowledge of Dubai Government portals and approval systems including:

Ø Dubai Municipality (DM)

Ø Dubai Development Authority (DDA)

Ø Trakhees

Ø Dubai Civil Defense (DCD)

Ø DEWA

Ø Dubai South

Ø Nakheel

Ø TECOM

Ø RTA and other related authorities

· Experience in authority submissions, NOCs, permit approvals, project follow-ups, and coordination processes

· Ability to manage multiple projects and departments simultaneously

· Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills

· Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Strong technical understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP coordination

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and consultancy-related systems/processes

· Ability to prepare reports, evaluate team performance, and improve workflow efficiency

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

· UAE Driving License is preferred

· Experience dealing directly with clients, contractors, and government authorities

· Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability

· Professional attitude, accountability, and commitment to company growth
