Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing the source content to develop instructional material for various delivery methods
such as ILT/vILT, WBT, video, etc. - Creating storyboards and other instructional material as per the design document / learning
goals identified for the learners - Creating supporting materials or scripts for videos, simulations, role plays, games, job aids
etc. - Developing modules using rapid authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise 360.
- Visualizing instructional graphics as per nature & complexity of content and delivery method
- Applying instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and best practices to
create engaging learning experiences - Conducting instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), internal teams, vendors, and other
functional teams (PM, Graphic, Programming team, etc.) to manage the development and
delivery of learning solutions - Coordinating with ID Functional Lead/Manager or with Subject Matter Experts for providing
and creating solutions - Designing and creating standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for the proposed
learning solution - Conducting thorough self/peer reviews and quality assurance edits of instructional materials
(prototypes, storyboards, final product, etc.) to maintain accuracy, clarity, and alignment
with the desired learning objectives - Maintaining project documentation, including, storyboards, ID checklists etc. and adhering
to version control - Monitoring and reviewing deliverables for completeness, compliance with
instructional/project standards prior to sending to stakeholders for review - Providing guidance and support to junior IDs offering expertise in ID principles,
methodologies, and tools - Ensuring that schedules and project efforts are met according to the training plan
- Leveraging authoring tools, Learning Management System (LMS), and other relevant
technologies to effectively develop and deliver learning solutions - Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the latest best practices in
instructional design
Preferred Skill/Experience/Requirement
- 5 to 7 years of core instructional design experience in the corporate sector
- In-depth knowledge of ID methodologies and models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning
principles - Hands-on experience of creating storyboards for ILTs/vILTs and WBTs and other instructional
materials include scripts for videos, job aids, exercises, etc. - Proficiency in working with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, RISE 360, Adobe
Captivate, Vyond etc. or a similar tool - Know-how of Learning Management System (LMS) and compliance standards (WCAG,
SCORM, etc.) - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality learning materials
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Qualification
- A graduate in Arts (MA with English)/ Science or any graduate with a flair for writing.
OR - A degree/diploma in Mass Communication/Journalism
OR - A degree/diploma/certification in Instructional Design
