Instructional Designer – eLearning Content Development
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Project Base

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to design and develop end-to-end eLearning content, digital modules, assessments, and blended learning materials for supply chain and logistics domains.
The ideal candidate will apply adult-learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and modern digital-learning tools to create engaging, interactive, and outcome-driven content.

Key Responsibilities1. Instructional Design & Curriculum Development

  • Design learning objectives, curriculum structures, and course flows for supply chain–related content.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis and convert subject-matter expertise into structured, easy-to-understand learning paths.
  • Transform raw content from SMEs into high-impact digital learning materials.

2. eLearning Development

  • Develop interactive eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, or similar.
  • Create learner engagement elements including scenarios, simulations, activities, and knowledge checks.
  • Design microlearning modules, explainer videos, animations, and interactive case studies.

3. Content Writing & Visual Storyboarding

  • Write clear, concise, and engaging content aligned with instructional goals.
  • Develop storyboards, scripts, visual layouts, and narration notes.
  • Ensure content accuracy and clarity for technical supply chain topics (inventory, warehouse, logistics, procurement, planning, etc.).

4. Assessments & Certification Preparation

  • Create quizzes, assignments, capstone projects, and final certification exams.
  • Map assessment frameworks to learning outcomes.
  • Work with SMEs to validate technical correctness.

5. Collaboration & Project Management

  • Work closely with subject-matter experts, graphic designers, multimedia editors, and LMS administrators.
  • Manage timelines, versions, feedback loops, and delivery milestones.
  • Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and quality standards.

6. Learning Technology & LMS

  • Upload, test, and publish content on the LMS.
  • Optimize courses for SCORM/xAPI compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to course playback or interactivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design or eLearning development.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick).
  • Expertise in eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline/Rise, Vyond, Captivate, Canva, etc.).
  • Ability to simplify complex supply chain topics into engaging learning sequences.
  • Excellent English writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience designing assessments, case studies, and scenario-based learning.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM standards.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience creating video-based learning content.
  • Graphic design or visual design background.
