Senior Integration Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure integration solutions
• Translate business and technical requirements into system designs
• Build APIs and workflows using REST, SOAP, Azure Function Apps, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Work with Azure Logic Apps, APIM, and other cloud integration tools
• Monitor, debug, and optimize integration services for high performance
• Ensure security and compliance across all integration touchpoints
• Maintain technical documentation for interfaces and data mappings
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments and monitoring
• Mentor junior team members and drive integration best practices

• API design (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Versioning, publishing, policy configuration
• OAuth 2.0, JWT, Azure AD, caching, throttling
• API testing (Postman, Swagger UI, SoapUI)
• Logging & monitoring (Azure Monitor, App Insights)

• Queues, Topics, pub/sub patterns
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, Event Hubs familiarity
• Error handling, retry logic, dead-lettering
• JSON, XML serialization
• Integration with Logic Apps & Azure Functions

• Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Microservices and API gateway design
• Event-driven architecture & hybrid cloud integrations

• C# (.NET/.NET Core), JavaScript
• PowerShell, Azure CLI
• Custom connectors, schema validation

• Azure DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions
• APIM & Service Bus automated deployments
• Key Vault for secrets, release gates

• Azure Monitor, Application Insights
• OAuth 2.0, Azure AD B2C, encryption best practices
• RBAC, managed identities, compliance awareness
