Senior Interior Designer

Role Overview

The Interior Designer at Iventom will be responsible for creating distinctive and functional interior solutions across residential, hospitality, commercial, and event spaces. The role combines design creativity with client engagement and project management, ensuring that every project reflects both the client’s vision and Iventom’s standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Development

• Develop design concepts for homes, hotels, commercial spaces, and event interiors.
• Produce mood boards, sketches, 2D layouts, and 3D renderings.
• Specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor aligned with project objectives.
• Ensure all designs balance creativity, functionality, and sustainability.

Technical & Execution

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align technical requirements with design intent.
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation and ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot design and execution challenges with practical solutions.

Client-Facing & Customer Management

• Engage with clients to understand their lifestyle, brand, or business needs and translate these into tailored design solutions.
• Lead client presentations, communicating ideas clearly through visuals and storytelling.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships by providing design advice and professional guidance.
• Manage client expectations around budget, timelines, and scope.

Project & Team Management

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Support the Creative Director in proposal preparation and tender submissions.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 4–6 years of proven experience in residential, hospitality, and commercial interiors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong creative vision supported by technical expertise in detailing and execution.
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
• Ability to balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Strong vendor and contractor management experience.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
