Senior Interior Designer

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of aesthetics, practical knowledge of materials and design trends, and the ability to convert client requirements into functional and visually appealing interior spaces. You will work on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality interiors.

Key Responsibilities: Design & Planning:

• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts based on client needs.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentations.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements.
• Ensure functional, ergonomic, and aesthetic design solutions.

Client Interaction:

• Meet with clients to understand requirements, budgets, and preferences.
• Present design ideas and revisions clearly and confidently.
• Maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Coordination:

• Work with architects, contractors, vendors, and consultants to implement designs.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material lists.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality and design compliance.
• Handle procurement and coordination of materials and furnishings.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain project documentation, drawings, and client records.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, accessibility, and building regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience (Internships for junior roles acceptable).
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, materials, and trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in luxury interiors, modular design, or turnkey projects.
• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.
• On-site supervision experience and vendor network.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,641.45 - ₹50,447.77 per month
