Interior Designer – Construction & Site Execution

Job Summary

We are seeking an Interior Designer with strong experience in construction coordination and site visits. The candidate will be responsible for translating design concepts into executed interiors by coordinating with contractors, vendors, and site teams while ensuring quality, timelines, and design intent are maintained.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Documentation

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings
• Prepare working drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Create material, furniture, lighting, and finish specifications
• Assist in BOQs and material estimates

Site Visits & Execution

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work
• Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other site teams
• Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and design standards
• Resolve site-level design and execution issues
• Take site measurements and update drawings as required

Construction Coordination

• Supervise interior construction activities such as carpentry, civil work, false ceiling, flooring, painting, and installations
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Maintain daily/weekly site reports
• Coordinate material deliveries and approvals

Client & Team Coordination

• Communicate with clients regarding site progress and design clarifications
• Attend site meetings and internal reviews
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and vendors

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Interior Design or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); SketchUp/3Ds Max and Photoshop preferred
• Strong understanding of interior construction and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel for frequent site visits

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in interior design with site execution exposure
• Experience in residential/commercial projects preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
