Senior Interior Designer

Job Overview
This position’s primary focus is managing the staging of homes for sale and rental, with additional responsibilities in residential interior design and documentation.

You will take ownership of our staging projects from first walkthrough to final set-out, while also contributing your design and drafting expertise to broader residential projects.

Primary – Residential Staging Management

You will:

  • Lead and manage all residential staging projects from initial brief through install and de-stage
  • Visit properties to measure spaces, photograph existing conditions and assess target buyer/renter profile
  • Develop staging floor plans and furniture layouts tailored to each property and market
  • Prepare staging proposals and project quotes, aligned with client budgets and timelines
  • Select all staging furniture, artwork, décor, soft goods and accessories from our inventory and vendors
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate deliveries, pickups and installations with logistics teams and trades
  • Pack, organize, label and track accessories and soft furnishings for each project
  • Oversee on-site set-out and styling, including personally placing artwork and accessories
  • Direct installers on site and ensure each space is photo-ready and presented to a high standard
  • Coordinate de-staging and return of items, ensuring inventory is maintained and organized

Requirements

  • Degree in Interior Design with 10+ years of full-time professional experience as an Interior Designer. Strong exposure to residential staging, styling or show homes.
  • Strong profollio showcasing diverse residential projects.
  • Strong eye for staging: composition, color, scale, proportion, lighting and photography-readiness
  • Highly proficient in Revit and SketchUp for space planning, 3D and documentation
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) for presentations and visuals
  • Solid residential drafting experience, able to produce clear, detailed drawings
  • Organized and operationally minded: able to manage schedules, deliveries, budgets and multiple projects at once
  • Hands-on and physically willing to be involved in on-site staging, lifting/moving smaller items, and placing art and accessories
  • Confident communicator with clients, trades and suppliers on site and in the office
  • Willing and able to work primarily in our Franklin office and on local job sites (no remote option)
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively from concept through construction completion.
  • Knowledge of contracts management and experience working within renovation or remodeling projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to clients and coordinating with contractors; ability to negotiate lighting sales or vendor agreements is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
