Experienced Senior Interior Designer

Specializes in highly creative conceptual design for presentations. Expertise in selection of concepts, artwork, accessories, area rugs and specialty items that enhance the design of new projects. Ability to work within a team environment for creation of design packages for clients. Client driven design is key to the success of this position. Able to work on a range of design styles with an eye for sophistication.

We are looking for a sophisticated and confident interior designer that can work alongside the principal of the company in creating dynamic presentations that drive the design of interior design projects.

Requirements: Communicates with clients, client liaisons, trades and team.

Adaptable, dependable and strong sense of style.

Manages deadlines & budgets.

May select surface materials and creates details as they relate to FF&E within aesthetic requirements for various types of design projects.

Works with Senior Interior Designer, technical designer and principal to create detailed CDs.

Provides notes and sketches for technical designer to draw floor plans, elevations and cabinet designs. Assist in support of technical design aspects as requested.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures. Has a strong design point of view and aligns with company's aesthetic.

Demonstrates creative problem solving. Ability to plan and deliver thorough work which meets the principal and client expectations.

Travels for client meetings, presentations and project installations as required.

Experience in sourcing furniture and finishes as it pertains to model homes and high end residences.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices.

Overtime as required to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
