Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer specializing in concept design to join our team in Dubai. This role is dedicated exclusively to the conceptual Design and Schematic design stages of projects, focusing on creative direction, spatial storytelling, and design innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design vision, deep regional experience, and the ability to translate client briefs into compelling, original concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of interior design concepts from initial brief through to approved concept stage.
• Interpret client requirements and translate them into creative, functional, and aesthetically compelling design proposals.
• Produce concept presentations including mood boards, material palettes, sketches, space planning layouts, FF&E selections, and visual references.
• Develop space planning strategies aligned with project objectives and brand identity.
• Collaborate closely with the Interior Project Coordinator to align concepts with overall project vision and business goals.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Architecture, MEP, Visualization teams) during the concept phase.
• Provide clear design intent documentation to support smooth transition into subsequent design stages handled by other teams.
• Stay updated with regional and international design trends, materials, and innovations.
• Participate in client presentations and design discussions when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design/ Architecture with Interiors Project profile.
• 15–17 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in Dubai/UAE, with strong familiarity of local design standards, regulations, and market expectations.
• Proven experience across all project stages up to construction (although this role focuses only on concept and Schematic design).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality concept design work across various project types (hospitality, residential, commercial, etc.).
• Exceptional creativity with strong conceptual thinking and storytelling ability.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills is mandatory
• Excellent Client management and engagement skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED17,000.00 per month
