Senior Interior Designer / Project Lead – Residential

Divino Arc is a residential interior design studio specializing in modern, minimalist, and contemporary homes. Our work focuses on full-home remodels, new construction, and high-end kitchens and bathrooms.

We operate in a structured, fast-paced environment with multiple projects running in parallel. Our process includes space planning, detailed construction drawings, material curation, and photorealistic 3D renderings.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer / Project Lead to join our team and take ownership of project execution, team coordination, and design development.

This is a hands-on, in-office role requiring strong technical ability, leadership, and reliability. The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects, produce accurate drawing sets, and guide projects from concept through construction documentation.

Strong proficiency in Chief Architect and real experience with construction drawings is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage residential design projects from concept through construction documentation
  • Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and technical drawing sets using Chief Architect
  • Ensure all drawings are accurate, buildable, and aligned with project scope
  • Coordinate with internal team members, including design assistants and 3D team
  • Oversee material selections and ensure consistency across all project elements
  • Prepare and review material schedules, specifications, and documentation
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and organization across multiple active projects
  • Communicate with contractors, vendors, and clients as needed
  • Conduct site visits, measurements, and field verification in the Bay Area
  • Perform quality control on all drawings and documentation before release

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in residential interior design
  • Strong proficiency in Chief Architect (required)
  • Proven experience producing full construction drawing sets (plans, elevations, details)
  • Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, and full-home remodels
  • Strong understanding of cabinetry design, materials, and detailing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Clear, professional communication
  • Ability to take ownership and lead projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit
  • Experience working with modern / contemporary design styles
  • Familiarity with Bay Area residential construction workflows
  • Experience guiding or supporting junior designers

Work Structure

  • Full-time, in-office role in Santa Clara, CA
  • Monday to Friday, standard business hours
  • Site visits required as part of the role

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
