Divino Arc is a residential interior design and planning studio specializing in modern, minimalist, and contemporary homes. Our projects include high-end kitchens, bathrooms, and full house remodels throughout the Bay Area.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our growing team. This role combines strong technical design capabilities with leadership of the FFE (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) design direction, helping complete our projects with fully developed interiors.

The ideal candidate is both design-driven and technically strong, capable of translating design ideas into detailed plans while also developing furniture, lighting, and interior styling concepts that elevate the overall project.

Responsibilities

• Develop space planning, layouts, and design concepts for residential projects
• Conduct accurate site measurements and document existing conditions
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, and detailed construction drawings
• Lead the FFE design direction for projects, including furniture layouts, lighting selections, decorative fixtures, rugs, and styling elements
• Prepare FFE packages and schedules, including specifications and documentation
• Assist with material selections including cabinetry, tile, slabs, plumbing fixtures, and architectural finishes
• Support design presentations and help translate concepts into clear drawings and visual materials
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and showrooms throughout the project lifecycle
• Review specifications for plumbing fixtures, windows, doors, appliances, and furniture items
• Maintain organized project documentation, schedules, and spreadsheets

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional residential interior design experience
• Strong understanding of kitchens, bathrooms, and residential construction details
• Strong measurement skills (required)
• Proficiency in Chief Architect and AutoCAD (required)
• Proven experience producing plans, elevations, and technical drawings
• Experience specifying furniture, lighting, and decorative elements (FFE) for residential interiors
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within structured workflows and processes
• Ability to work in person in the Bay Area
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a car for site visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-end residential projects
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry, tile specifications, plumbing fixtures, and architectural finishes
• Experience preparing FFE schedules, procurement documentation, and vendor coordination
• Familiarity with furniture sourcing and working with trade vendors
• Advanced proficiency in Chief Architect and AutoCAD
