Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager to lead our innovative interior design projects from concept to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape inspiring spaces in the Los Angeles area and nationwide. As a key team member, you will blend creative vision with meticulous project management to deliver exceptional results that exceed client expectations. Your expertise will drive the design process, coordinate with contractors, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for project design and coordination with clients, contractors, fabricators and internal design team
• Work together with the Creative Director to develop and create design concepts, story boards, 3D models, client presentations.
• Manage all aspects of the project, including project setup, scope, scheduling, budgeting, profitability, and team coordination.
• Develop schematic, design development, and construction drawing sets including drafting, CAD documentation, 3D modeling (using SketchUp, Enscape, Autocad, Chief Architect) for detailed construction documents.
• Oversee procurement process for furnishings, lighting, and materials, and accessories while ensuring adherence to project specifications and budgets.
• Work with the Design Team to put together client proposals, invoices, and track deliveries to ensure project adheres to the timeline.
• Oversee installations, deliveries, styling, and photo shoots to ensure projects are executed successfully and to the highest standard.
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate schedules, budgets, and project deliverables.
• Conduct site visits during renovation or remodeling phases to monitor progress, quality control, and ensure compliance with design intent.
• Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless execution from initial concept through completion.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven 6+ years experience in interior design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in drafting, lighting design, remodeling, renovation, and construction projects.
• Proficient in SketchUp/Enscape and AutoCAD; Chief Architect and 20/20 experience a bonus.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Drive/Docs/Sheets
• Experience with interior design project management software such as Studio Designer
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction methods, and preparation of detailed construction drawings.
• Excellent organizational, time and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Meticulous attention to detail and refined presentation skills
• Strong leadership/management skills with ability to multitask and managing multiple projects and deadlines, from design concept through to completion.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and cooperatively within the team setting of a small office environment; eager to learn and grow within the company.
• Solid understanding of project management principles—budgeting, scheduling, contracts—and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of CAD drafting standards combined with a keen eye for color theory and design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members while managing client expectations.
• Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
