Job Title: Onsite Senior Inventory Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Cambridge, MA (Lab Central)
Contract Duration: 11/17/2025 – 02/28/2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $26.44/hr
Dress Code: Business casual (company polo provided)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Onsite Senior Inventory Coordinator to support a high-performing laboratory services team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, operational support, and customer service. This is a full-time, on-site contract position with no requirement for handling hazardous chemicals or steel-toe boots.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
  • Oversee consumables and chemical inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.
  • Track stock usage, identify slow-moving items, and perform cycle counts and physical inventories.

Operational Support
  • Receive and break down incoming shipments and manage package deliveries.
  • Maintain stockroom and flammable storage areas, ensuring proper organization and removal of expired materials.
  • Log incoming chemicals and classify them accurately in the system.

Purchasing & Logistics
  • Assist with purchasing tasks, including backorder resolution, quote processing, and invoice troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate shipping activities and support chemical waste disposal with designated vendors.

Customer Service & Collaboration
  • Deliver high-level customer service while maintaining performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

System & Process Management
  • Utilize platforms such as SAP, Citrix, ChemSW, and other customer-specific systems.
  • Maintain and update SOPs and support change management initiatives.
  • Manage inbound package delivery and consigned/non-consigned inventory.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in inventory management and customer service.
  • Ability to operate independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with inventory or lab management software is a plus.
