Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Onsite Senior Inventory Coordinator to support a high-performing laboratory services team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, operational support, and customer service. This is a full-time, on-site contract position with no requirement for handling hazardous chemicals or steel-toe boots.
Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management- Oversee consumables and chemical inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.
- Track stock usage, identify slow-moving items, and perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
Operational Support- Receive and break down incoming shipments and manage package deliveries.
- Maintain stockroom and flammable storage areas, ensuring proper organization and removal of expired materials.
- Log incoming chemicals and classify them accurately in the system.
Purchasing & Logistics- Assist with purchasing tasks, including backorder resolution, quote processing, and invoice troubleshooting.
- Coordinate shipping activities and support chemical waste disposal with designated vendors.
Customer Service & Collaboration- Deliver high-level customer service while maintaining performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
System & Process Management- Utilize platforms such as SAP, Citrix, ChemSW, and other customer-specific systems.
- Maintain and update SOPs and support change management initiatives.
- Manage inbound package delivery and consigned/non-consigned inventory.
Qualifications & Skills:- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in inventory management and customer service.
- Ability to operate independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with inventory or lab management software is a plus.
