Key Responsibilities:
- Works with business teams to document requirements and acts as a liaison between business and IT teams
- Builds, understands, maintains, and executes requirements based on the software’s function and business needs
- Identify potential IT solutions to fulfill business needs
- Debug reported defects and prioritizes defect corrections based on business impact and business feedback
- Provide customer support for customer reported issues in production
- Provides accurate estimates for analysis, design, and development activities for subsystems
- Works with vendors and internal business teams to deploy software updates as needed
- Works with vendors and internal business teams to complete data mapping and conversions as needed
- Creates, documents, and executes unit testing
- Recreate reported defects as needed
- Monitor processes for issues or potential improvement opportunities
- Leads regular scrums as needed
- Stays aware of the latest industry and consumer trends by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, internet research, establishing personal networks, and/or participating in professional societies

A deep understanding of transactional insurance processes, business processes, and system interactions
- Excellent communication skills; interacts with external, as well as internal clients. This includes both verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and/or related field; related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or other BA certification preferred
- Insurance Software Solutions experience is highly preferred (Sapiens, Adaptik, Duck Creek, Guide Wire, Majesco, etc)
- 8 years insurance experience is highly preferred
- 8 years IT BA experience or Technical Project Management
- Experience in the use and management of defect ticketing systems (JIRA preferred, TFS, Salesforce, etc)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
