About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer – AI Building to design and implement scalable, AI-driven automation systems. The role focuses on building intelligent workflows using Google Apps Script, Google Cloud Run, and large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI and Anthropic. You will work on processing large datasets, implementing business-matching logic, and delivering reliable, cost-efficient AI solutions integrated with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build Google Apps Script functions to trigger workflows and receive results.

- Develop Cloud Run serverless services to distribute work across parallel workers.

- Implement AI-based matching logic using OpenAI / Anthropic LLMs.

- Chunk and process large supplier datasets efficiently (thousands of rows per supplier).

- Apply business rules such as diameter priority, genus scoring, and price comparison.

- Optimize token usage, batching strategies, and overall cost efficiency.

- Ensure secure communication between Apps Script, Cloud Run, ERP and AI APIs.

- Deliver clean, reliable results back into Google Sheets.

- Provide clear documentation and handover.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong back-end development experience (Node.js or Python).

- Experience with Google Cloud Run and serverless architectures.

- Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI or Anthropic APIs.

- Solid knowledge of Google Apps Script and Google Sheets automation.

- Comfortable working with large datasets and chunking / batching strategies.

- Understanding of prompt engineering and structured LLM outputs (JSON, schemas).

- Experience building distributed or parallel processing systems.

- Strong problem-solving and systems-design skills.

Bonus Skills (Nice to have):

- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or data-matching systems.

- Familiarity with horticulture / floriculture naming conventions (nice to have).

- Previous work with vector search or embeddings.

- Prior experience with automation tools or operational AI systems.
