Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior IT Operations Specialist to manage and support IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and day-to-day technology operations across the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable and secure IT systems, providing advanced technical support, managing Microsoft technologies and infrastructure, coordinating with technology vendors, and supporting the continuous improvement of IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support IT infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints, and related systems.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Active Directory environments.
- Manage endpoint devices, user accounts, access, and IT assets.
- Support backup, recovery, data protection, and business continuity processes.
- Monitor system performance, availability, security, and overall infrastructure health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical issues.
- Support cybersecurity, vulnerability management, access controls, and information security practices.
- Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts, devices, and access.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, asset records, and IT knowledge resources.
- Manage and coordinate with IT vendors, software providers, hardware suppliers, and service providers.
- Review software licenses, IT services, and infrastructure requirements to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of new IT tools, systems, and technology solutions.
- Assist with internal IT projects, system upgrades, digital workplace solutions, and technology improvements.
- Prioritize technical incidents and infrastructure requirements according to business needs.
- Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support when required for critical incidents or planned technology activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and technical support.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior, supervisory, technical lead, or similar capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Endpoint Management.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory and Hybrid Active Directory environments.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam.
- Practical experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, and network security.
- Experience in information security, cybersecurity controls, compliance, vulnerability management, and audit readiness.
- Experience with IT vendors, software licensing, and technology cost optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support multiple business requirements.
- Willingness to provide occasional after-hours or weekend support when required.
