Senior IT Project Manager- SCADA

Sr. Project Manager - PMP with experience in SCADA and GIS Implementation Systems

Location: Camden, NJ

Type: 6+ Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead end-to-end implementation and upgrade projects for SCADA and GIS systems across multiple locations.

· Manage concurrent OT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business, engineering, and operational goals.

· Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource allocation.

· Coordinate with engineering teams, field operations, IT, cybersecurity, and external vendors.

· Ensure system integration between SCADA, GIS, enterprise applications, and infrastructure platforms.

· Oversee testing, validation, and commissioning activities to ensure system reliability and compliance.

· Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and third-party implementation partners.

· Drive risk mitigation strategies related to operational continuity and system downtime.

· Provide executive-level reporting on program status, financials, and performance metrics.

· Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

· 10+ years of Project Management experience with significant focus on Operational Technologies (OT).

· Proven hands-on experience managing SCADA and GIS implementations and system upgrades.

· Experience managing multi-site, concurrent deployment programs.

· Strong understanding of OT infrastructure, field devices, communication networks, and data integration.

· Experience working in utilities, energy, oil & gas, transportation, or industrial environments.

· Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

· Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

· PMP or equivalent certification.

· Experience with leading SCADA platforms (e.g., Siemens, GE, Schneider, ABB, etc.).

· Experience with GIS platforms (e.g., Esri ArcGIS, Small world, etc.).

· Knowledge of cybersecurity standards in OT environments (NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443).

· Experience in digital transformation or smart grid initiatives.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour
