KEY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Based on the demand, feasibility, capex and requirements provided by Manager prepare the HighLevel Design / Architecture.

  • Get the Design approved from review team.

  • Draw up the plan and coordinate to complete Technical Specifications Documents

  • Identify various modules to be developed and indicate the major data flows within the application and interface to other applications.

  • Ensure that IT Standards (such as policy, framework, procedures and protocol) are followed to design the applications therefore it’s scalable, reliable, extensible & performance oriented

  • Guide System Analysts in creating Software Requirements Specification from Business Requirements Specification thereby achieving high standard of quality.

  • Mentor/Guide System Analyst during application design and ensure that outcome of design encapsulate the entire business requirements

  • Ensure IT Security components are adequately enabled throughout the SDLC

  • Publish a standard operating procedure on how database for an application is to be designed and how data values are to be fetched from the database with optimum efficiency.

  • Review this architecture in the light of retiring old applications and development of new applications to meet business needs.

  • Introduce programming techniques and development tool to reduce software development time.

  • To keep abreast of business trends in the respective domain and thereby aiding the IT Department craft better IT solutions for the business.

  • To verify QA test result thereby confirming compliance of developed software to SRS

  • Ensure compliance to IT policy in terms of implementation and monitoring of information security management in your department in line with the UAE region ISR policy.

    • Developing Project Plans: Manages project plans, defines timeframes, and prioritizes tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.
  • IT Troubleshooting/ Technical Support
    • Analyzing Issues: Conducts a deep review of data and issues to quickly reveal the root cause of a problem.
    • Identifying Solutions: Recommends interim and long-term solutions to complex problems, in order to ensure successful resolution.
    • Implementing Solutions: Contributes to product development by identifying industry change, listening to customers specific needs, capturing feedback and communicating that feedback to the business towards a tailored solution.
  • IT Account Management
    • Building Stakeholder Relationships: Gains stakeholder trust by effectively addressing their concerns to further long-term interests.
  • IT Innovation
    • Developing New Solutions: Identifies new technologies, applications, systems and process changes to continually improve IT efficiency or technology performance.
    • Implementing New Ideas: Designs completely new IT solutions, methods and products, where nothing existed previously.
    • Adopting Alternative Perspectives: Regularly engages in new IT projects/activities and pushes past customary practices to address problems and opportunities within the team to develop new IT products.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Information Systems

Work Experience: Minimum 4/6 years experience in SDLC applied to software development projects, SQERT based project Analysis, Project management tools, Resource management methodology and tools, Software development experience in coding computer programs is preferred.
