Senior Label Designer

Experience

2-5 years in label/packaging design (FMCG, skincare, cosmetics, pharma preferred)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Label Designer who can lead the design and execution of product labels from concept to print. The ideal candidate understands both creative aesthetics and regulatory precision, ensuring labels are visually compelling, brand-consistent, and compliant across markets.

Key Responsibilities

Design primary & secondary product labels (bottles, jars, tubes, cartons)

Translate brand guidelines into impactful, shelf-ready label designs

Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal & mandatory declarations (ingredients, claims, symbols, barcodes, etc.)

Collaborate with marketing, R&D, regulatory, and production teams

Prepare print-ready artworks with correct dielines, color modes, and finishes

Coordinate with printers & packaging vendors for sampling, proofs, and approvals

Maintain version control and manage label updates across SKUs

Mentor junior designers and review their label artworks

Stay updated with packaging trends, materials & print techniques

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

In-depth knowledge of label printing processes (offset, flexo, digital)

Excellent understanding of typography, layout, color & hierarchy

Experience handling multi-SKU product ranges

Attention to detail with strong quality & accuracy focus

Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines

Preferred Experience

Background in skincare, cosmetics, wellness, FMCG or pharma

Experience with US / EU / India compliance standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
