Senior Landscape Designer

We are seeking a qualified professional with a strong background in roads, bridges, and infrastructure to lead the review of landscape and public realm designs. The successful candidate will ensure that all landscape submissions achieve high quality, comply with project and regulatory standards, and are seamlessly integrated with the broader civil, structural, and utility infrastructure.

Required Experience
Demonstrated experience in road, bridge, and civil infrastructure projects is essential. This role requires a deep understanding of how public realm and landscaping elements interact with major engineering works.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of detailed landscape design packages, including hardscape/softscape plans, planting schedules, irrigation layouts, and material specifications.
• Verify compliance with all project specifications, municipal authority standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability targets (e.g., LEED, Estidama).
• Assess technical aspects of design, including site grading, soil conditions, plant species suitability for the local climate, and irrigation efficiency.
• Ensure seamless design integration with adjacent civil works, structures, and underground utilities to pre-empt conflicts and achieve a cohesive public realm aesthetic.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to design teams, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or non-compliance issues within submission packages.
• Champion designs that prioritize long-term functionality, safety, ease of maintenance, and durability within the infrastructure environment.
