Position: Senior Landscape Designer (4–8 Years Experience)

HKLA is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Landscape Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a designer with strong conceptual and technical abilities who is passionate about design excellence and eager to contribute to high-quality, impactful projects.

The selected candidate will play a key role in advancing design concepts through all project phases, with a particular focus on design development and construction documentation. You will work closely with firm leadership and project teams to translate design intent into thoughtful, well-executed landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to design development from concept through construction
• Prepare and support design development and construction documentation
• Translate conceptual ideas into clear, buildable design solutions
• Collaborate with internal team members, consultants, and clients
• Assist in preparing presentation materials and design graphics
• Support coordination of project deliverables and deadlines

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of professional experience in a design-focused landscape architecture firm
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
• Strong conceptual, graphic, and technical design skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design software
• Experience with design development and construction documentation
• Knowledge of landscape systems and sustainable design practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Desire for continued professional growth within a design-driven practice
