Senior Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect – High-End Residential Design-Build

Job Overview
As a Senior Landscape Designer / Design–Sales Lead, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing design concepts, and selling complete landscape design-build projects. You’ll collaborate with clients, architects, and our production team to bring high-end outdoor environments to life.

This role offers the opportunity to lead projects that reflect exceptional design quality while growing your own client base and contributing to Dex by Terra’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for new residential design-build clients
• Conduct site visits and client consultations to assess needs, goals, and budgets
• Create detailed landscape design plans and presentations (AutoCAD or similar software)
• Present and sell comprehensive design-build proposals to clients
• Collaborate with estimating and production teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout design and construction phases
• Meet or exceed annual sales and design performance goals
• Represent Dex by Terra with professionalism, creativity, and integrity

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or design-build sales
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related field
• Proven track record selling and managing high-end residential landscape projects ($150K-$1 MILLION)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design tools
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating residential landscape design expertise
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills
• Knowledge of plants, materials, and construction techniques
• Highly organized, self-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
