Position Description:
The Senior Lead, Marketing Operations is a strategic enabler of data-driven marketing. This role focuses
on building and maintaining a high-quality sales and marketing database, ensuring data integrity, and
delivering actionable insights through advanced reporting and analytics. By leveraging marketing
technologies and visualization tools, this role empowers the sales and marketing team to make informed
decisions and optimize performance across channels.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the marketing database is built and maintained with the right accounts and
individuals in our target markets
- Set standards around database health and partner with the marketing leadership team to develop
strategies to improve the quality and health of our database
- Track, measure, and report on growth and account-level metrics using Power BI, or similar
visualization tools.
- Build and maintain custom dashboards to monitor performance and present clear, actionable
insights.
- Manage the marketing technology stack, research, and recommend additional technologies to
improve lead generation and conversions
- Work closely with other marketing team members to assess where technology and
automation can be used to track top of funnel metrics.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8-10 years of marketing operations/database management/business operations experience in
the B2B software space
- Strong experience working with Salesforce CRM
- Solid analytical and data skills (SQL, Excel, BI tools) to translate data into actionable insights
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
- Excellent command of business writing and ability to own the production of outstanding email
and digital content
- High level of attention to detail and experience managing multiple projects to successful
completion simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a high-growth environment with competing priorities among a globally
dispersed team
- Understanding of United States public sector and capital program markets highly preferred
