Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Lead Software Architect to design and implement comprehensive architecture frameworks that align with organizational goals and ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of Energy Component products. This role involves leading a team of engineers, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring adherence to best practices. The overall objective is to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance product quality and performance.


What You Will Do:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Energy Component products in an Agile environment.
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and reusable components across the application portfolio.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Drive the adoption of modern technologies and frameworks, focusing on Java and related ecosystems.
  • Drive technical decisions, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline the development process.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, ensuring alignment with architectural goals.
  • Participate in solution architecture and roadmap planning.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with architectural guidelines.
  • New technology solution selection as required by business that fits into future state architecture.
  • And other duties as assigned.


What to Bring:

  • 15-20 years of experience in Core Java & Java EE, developing and implementing architecture frameworks and guiding enterprise-wide solution strategies.
  • Expertise in Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate), RESTful services, object-oriented design patterns, JSF (PrimeFaces preferred), JUnit, and Selenium.
  • Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Expertise in Oracle, SQL/PLSQL.
  • Expertise in DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins) and Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in designing solutions for high availability, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, preferably AWS
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, middleware, and integration patterns for seamless system interoperability.
  • Understanding of security protocols, encryption standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
  • Experience with front-end technologies, Angular, is a plus.
  • Proven ability to align emerging technologies with organizational goals.
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript, GraphQL, and modern integration patterns.


Additional Details

  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
