Urgent requirement for Senior Legal Advisor – Commercial & Corporate Affairs (UAE) – min 10-12 yrs exp in UAE region is required for our banking client in Dubai ,UAE

  • Strong experience on UAE commercial law, company law, real estate law, and contract law is Must

Strong experience working with key UAE authorities — DED, Dubai Land Department, Dubai Municipality, Notary Public, etc are Must

Minimum 15- 20 years of professional legal experience, preferably within leading UAE-based organizations or reputable law firms.

Arabic Nationals Are Preferred.

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lawyer / Legal Advisor with over 20 years of progressive legal experience in reputable organizations within the UAE. The successful candidate will play a key advisory role in supporting the company’s commercial and strategic objectives while ensuring full compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.

This role requires deep legal expertise, strong government relations, and the ability to navigate complex business and regulatory environments with sound judgment and integrity..

  • Provide strategic legal advice on a broad range of commercial, corporate, and contractual matters to support the company’s operations and business goals.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and other legal instruments.
  • Liaise with external law firms and legal consultants to ensure effective representation and alignment with company interests.
  • Maintain strong relationships with UAE government entities such as the Department of Economic Development (DED), Dubai Land Department, Dubai Municipality, and Notary Public to facilitate licensing, approvals, and transactions.
  • Support management in risk assessment, dispute resolution, and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Provide guidance on corporate governance, labor law, real estate, and commercial transactions as needed.
  • Monitor changes in UAE legislation and advise management on potential implications for the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law; UAE license to practice preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of legal experience, ideally within reputable UAE-based organizations.
  • Strong networking relationships with key UAE authorities and government bodies.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Immediate availability with a stable and consistent career history.
