Experience Level: 5–8+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients (internal or external) on a wide range of legal matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Manage complex legal transactions and projects with minimal supervision.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, arbitrations, or negotiations, as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law.
- Supervise and mentor junior legal staff and associates.
- Liaise with external counsel as necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support business development initiatives, including preparing proposals and participating in pitches.
- Maintain and ensure the confidentiality and protection of sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Strong understanding of [insert relevant legal area, e.g., corporate law, litigation, IP, M&A, etc.]
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cross-functional teams or international clients.
- Exposure to high-value or cross-border legal matters.
- Proficiency in legal tech tools or case management software.
