Your new role
Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer as Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization and its Middle Eastern operations, delivering strategic, commercial, and practical legal advice particularly in relation to M&A activity and real estate matters.
Your Duties

Providing end-to-end legal guidance on M&A transactions in the region, including drafting and reviewing documents, conducting due diligence, assessing legal risks, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Addressing due diligence findings, managing contract transfers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling post-closing restructuring.

Providing key legal support to the real estate function, assisting with new-build projects, business expansion and lease renewals.

Leading regional initiatives to improve operational practices and risk management for growth activities.

Providing strategic legal guidance on corporate governance and managing the internal approvals process.

Ensuring all legal transactions and activities align with group policies and governance standards.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams on structuring and negotiating commercial agreements.

Monitoring and interpreting changes in regional laws and regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance.

Supporting the development and implementation of legal policies, templates, and training programs.

Managing corporate legal matters for the region, including board meetings, resolutions, and internal approval process.

Overseeing the organization, maintenance, and filing of legal documents and corporate records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Managing key relationships with external legal counsel, suppliers, parent community, auditors and any other parties.
What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in law.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on M&As and experience of real estate/new-build projects.

Proven experience in cross-border transactions and working with international legal frameworks.

Trained at an international law firm and previous in-house legal experience preferred.
