Senior Legal Counsel – Financial Regulation | Dubai

We’re working with a leading financial regulatory authority in Dubai to hire a Senior Legal Counsel for their in-house legal and policy team. This is a senior-level role offering exposure to high-impact regulatory matters across financial services, policy development, and enforcement.

The successful candidate will advise internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues including authorization and supervision of financial service providers, investigations, enforcement, and legislative drafting. The role also involves contributing to policy initiatives and supporting executive-level decision-making.

What we are seeking for:

• 7+ years’ PQE from a top-tier international law firm or financial regulator
• Common law qualified (UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc.)
• Strong experience in financial services regulation
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and advisory skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute to policy initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
