Senior Legal Counsel

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide expert legal guidance and support in the ICT and Digital fields. This role is responsible for managing legal risks, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company’s operations and strategic initiatives through sound legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal support and advice on ICT-related legal matters, ensuring effective risk assessment and mitigation for the company’s governance, operations, and transactions.
• Draft and review various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and official statements.
• Support negotiations and maintain effective communication with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and other legal requirements.
• Stay up to date with legislative changes and developments in relevant areas of law, contributing to the continuous improvement of the company’s legal knowledge base.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a Legal Counsel in the ICT and Digital sectors.
• Strong understanding of the ICT industry and digital business operations.
• Excellent prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations will be considered an asset.
