Senior Legal Counsel – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Skyro is seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Senior Legal Counsel to support our fast-growing fintech operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh , you will serve as the company’s primary legal advisor in the market, partnering closely with our Global Legal team to guide the business through a dynamic regulatory landscape and ensure full compliance with Saudi laws, SAMA regulations, and other applicable frameworks. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on the future of financial services in the region.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day legal support across all business functions, offering clear, practical, and solutions-oriented advice to senior leadership and operational teams. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial, regulatory, and corporate documents while ensuring that our products, partnerships, and internal processes are aligned with the latest legal and regulatory requirements. As the legal guardian of our KSA operations, you will also oversee compliance with SAMA and NCA obligations, manage licensing and registration processes, support corporate governance activities, and ensure that internal policies and governance frameworks reflect both Saudi Companies Law and international best practices.

Your work will extend across contract management, legal risk assessment, and regulatory interpretation, empowering the business to move with confidence and clarity. You will collaborate closely with external advisors, engage directly with regulators when necessary, and provide timely, well-researched guidance on emerging fintech regulations and sector developments. As the legal landscape evolves rapidly, your insights and expertise will help shape strategic decisions, mitigate risk, and support product innovation.

To succeed in this role, you should bring a solid foundation in Saudi law with at least six years of relevant experience gained in fintech, banking, or financial services. You must be licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia, demonstrate strong drafting and negotiation abilities, and be fluent in both Arabic and English. Experience within multicultural or international environments will be highly valued, as you will work closely with stakeholders across multiple regions.
