About the Opportunity

A well established, international, oil and gas industrial player with over 1,000 employees and located in Jebel Ali Freezone, is seeking to appoint a Legal Counsel.

Responsibilities / Required Profile

• Mix of private practice and in-house counsel experience, with mandatory exposure to heavy industrial sectors (Oil & Gas, manufacturing, construction).
• Legal Expertise: Strong in contract law, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Stakeholder Management: Proactive, with strong relationship management skills.
• Leadership: Ability to manage and develop a small legal team, including Paralegals.
• Technology: Familiarity with legal tech and process automation is a plus.
• 8+ years PQE in legal

Languages:

• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Arabic fluency (also) is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in law with strong academic credentials
• Minimum 8 years' legal experience, including meaningful in house exposure.
• Strong background in corporate, commercial and governance matters
