Senior Legal Counsel

The Senior Legal Counsel provides strategic legal advice to support business operations, manage legal risk, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Advise management and stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, policies, and legal correspondence.
• Monitor compliance with Qatar laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
• Manage disputes, claims, litigation, and arbitration, including coordination with external counsel.
• Support corporate governance, board matters, internal approvals, and legal documentation.
• Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; LLM or professional legal qualification is an advantage.
• 6–10+ years of legal experience, ideally including in-house counsel or top-tier law firm exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar law, commercial contracts, labor law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle complex matters with minimal supervision.

Pay: QAR145.00 - QAR215.00 per hour
