Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate M&A - Abu Dhabi

We have been instructed on an excellent opportunity to work with a state-owned investment fund in Abu Dhabi who invest in opportunities locally, regionally and internationally across asset classes that diversify and enhance the economy of the UAE. Our client are looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel who will head up the Corporate function and will provide specific expertise in Corporate M&A matters and investment transactions cross-border including private equity and fund structuring.

Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of UAE legal frameworks in corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory risk management having extensive experience of working with government owned entities. It is essential that you must be fully bilingual in English and Arabic (speaking and legal drafting).

Applicants must have at least 10 years' PQE in Corporate M&A either from an internationally recognised law firm or in-house at a significant investment group based in the UAE.
