Senior Legal Manager, Industrial Trading House

An international Industrial Trading House is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Manager to support commercial operations, contract management, and day-to-day legal matters across a high-volume trading platform. This role will support cross-border transactions involving industrial materials, equipment, and project-related supply activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage purchase orders, supply agreements, trading contracts, and other commercial documentation
• Support domestic and international trading operations from a legal and contractual perspective
• Manage contract execution, amendments, renewals, and ongoing compliance with agreed terms
• Handle claims, delivery disputes, payment issues, and other contract-related matters
• Identify legal and commercial risks in transactions and recommend practical solutions
• Work closely with finance, procurement, logistics, and business teams on deal execution and contract performance
• Support structuring of commercial arrangements, payment terms, guarantees, and contractual protections
• Maintain legal templates, contract records, and internal approval processes
• Coordinate with external counsel when specialist or jurisdiction-specific advice is required
• Assist in improving internal controls, policies, and legal processes across the business
  
  
  

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of legal experience within trading, commercial, distribution, procurement, or industrial business environments
• Good understanding of English law and international commercial contracting principles
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and contract management experience
• Good understanding of trading operations, supply chains, and commercial workflows
• Experience supporting cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdiction business relationships
• Practical, business-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
• Fluent English and Russian required
• Willingness to be based in Doha
