Overview:
We are a mid-sized defense litigation firm dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized legal services to insurance companies and their insureds in a wide variety of litigation and coverage matters. We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Austin office, with a primary focus on litigation and insurance defense.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle litigation matters, including discovery, pleadings, and day-to-day correspondence, with minimal supervision.
• Attend hearings and depositions locally in the Austin area.
• Independently manage a docket and maintain strong client relationships.
• Analyze cases quickly and articulate critical issues accurately and effectively.
• Participate in deposition and courtroom proceedings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation and insurance defense.
• Strong academic background and exceptional organizational skills.
• Professional work ethic with the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and precision in legal writing.
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
• Must reside in Austin or the surrounding area.
