Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Duties
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of litigation case files, including document review, organization, and maintenance using legal case management systems..
- Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw to support case strategies across diverse practice areas including environmental law, estate planning, tribal law, patent law, and workers' compensation law.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing deposition summaries, and managing discovery responses efficiently.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel through interviewing and scheduling to ensure smooth case progression.
- Maintain meticulous records of case activities in our document management system while ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Support administrative functions including data entry, filing, transcription, and managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette to foster positive client relationships.
Requirements
- Proven paralegal experience in litigation with a strong understanding of legal procedures across multiple practice areas.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools including Westlaw.
- Strong writing skills for drafting pleadings, memos, reports, and correspondence that are clear and persuasive.
- Experience conducting interviews with clients or witnesses to gather relevant information effectively.
- Excellent proofreading abilities coupled with transcription skills to ensure accuracy in all legal documents.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Superior organizational skills complemented by effective clerical experience including filing, data entry, and administrative support tasks.
