About the Role
We are a plaintiffs’ firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Manager / Legal Assistant to support personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
Our firm is selective in the cases we take and emphasizes quality, thoroughness, and client care. This role is ideal for someone who values doing careful, high-quality work and staying on top of case details.
This position also includes light administrative and office coordination responsibilities that support client experience and firm operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage case files from start to finish, including pre-litigation through settlement or transition into litigation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients
- Request and track medical records and bills
- Maintain and monitor case deadlines (SOL, treatment, demands, etc.)
- Draft and assist with demand packages
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and medical providers
- Keep case files organized and up to date in the case management system
- Assist attorney with case strategy and status updates
Additional Administrative Responsibilities
- Coordinate periodic client outreach and marketing mailings (e.g., seasonal football/baseball magnets)
- Manage client engagement touches such as monthly birthday cards and holiday cards
- Assist with light bookkeeping and administrative tracking
- Help maintain general office organization and support firm operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a plaintiffs’ personal injury firm strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative without constant supervision
- Comfortable handling both legal and light administrative responsibilities

Nice to Have (but not required)
- Experience with FileVine
- Familiarity with medical records and billing processes
- Basic bookkeeping or administrative experience
- Litigation experience, particularly in trucking accidents, wrongful death, or dram shop cases
Compensation
· Compensation is dependent on experience
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
