Senior Living Litigation Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to litigation, family law, and environmental law. This role requires exceptional analytical and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage complex cases from inception through resolution. The Senior Litigation Attorney will work closely with clients, providing expert legal guidance while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duties

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations across multiple areas of law.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with precision and clarity.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal standards.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and share insights on complex legal issues.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases or the firm’s practice areas.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal assistants within the firm.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in estate planning, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and environmental law.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful settlements.
• Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Strong research abilities to analyze case law and apply it effectively to client matters.
• Familiarity with legal administrative tasks within a law office environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
