Key Responsibilities:
- Manage local procurement activities for materials, tools, equipment, and operational requirements
- Source reliable local suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure best value, quality, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with projects, production, stores, and logistics teams regarding material requirements
- Monitor market prices and supplier performance to support cost control initiatives
- Ensure timely purchasing and delivery to avoid operational delays
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Resolve procurement and delivery issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and policies
Requirements:
✅ Minimum 5 years of local purchasing experience in Qatar
✅ Background in trading, manufacturing, or contracting industry
✅ Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
✅ Good knowledge of local market and suppliers
✅ ERP and MS Excel knowledge preferred
