Senior Logistic Officer - Construction Industry
Job Summary: The Senior Logistic Officer will oversee and coordinate all logistics operations for construction projects, ensuring materials, equipment, and resources are efficiently managed to meet project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the logistics of multiple construction sites, including material deliveries and equipment allocation.
- Supervise and mentor Logistic Officers and other logistics staff.
- Develop and implement logistics plans to optimize workflow and reduce delays.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to coordinate deliveries and resolve logistics issues.
- Maintain accurate reporting, records, and documentation for all logistics activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of logistics experience in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction site operations and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) and Microsoft Office.
