We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Logistics Manager, BWI to join our team in Mechanicsburg, PA. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the assigned business unit while driving operational excellence, safety compliance, and superior customer service. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in transportation and logistics management, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable providing both strategic direction and hands-on leadership across multiple locations. This position requires regular travel to support field operations and leadership initiatives.
This position offers a yearly performance bonus of up to 20% of base salary if company and regional goals are met.
The Senior Logistics Manager, BWI is responsible for the overall day-to-day management and performance of the assigned business unit, with accountability for operational execution, customer service, employee relations, safety compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides strategic and operational leadership, develops and executes transportation management strategies, ensures regulatory and safety compliance and serves as a key liaison between field operations and senior leadership.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the business unit, including customer relations, employee relations and internal operational processes.
Evaluate, propose, implement and manage new and existing processes to drive continuous improvement, efficiency and operational excellence.
Build, lead and sustain a strong service- and customer-oriented culture across all assigned locations and teams.
Lead the development, management and execution of the Company’s transportation management strategy for the business unit
Ensure the highest level of customer service is consistently delivered to all clients, regardless of business unit or location.
Ensure all safety policies, procedures and programs are followed, supported and reinforced throughout operations.
Manage and support assigned locations, including providing coverage for office staff during planned and unplanned absences
Ensure 100% compliance with equipment, driver, licensing, certification and expiration requirements.
Monitor, analyze and report weekly KPIs and Resource Monitoring documentation to upper management as required.
Partner with senior leadership to address operational risks, staffing needs and performance opportunities.
Travel as required to support assigned locations, operational needs and leadership initiatives (estimated 25–40%)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, transportation, logistics, or a related environment.

Demonstrated experience managing multi-location operations and cross-functional teams.

Strong knowledge of transportation management, safety compliance and operational best practices.

Proven ability to analyze KPIs, operational data and performance metrics to drive decision-making.

Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation or operations management systems.
