Senior Magento Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Magento Developer with extensive expertise in building, optimizing, and deploying high-performing e-commerce solutions. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Magento architecture, custom module development, integrations, and best practices related to performance, security, and scalability. Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy multiple Magento-based e-commerce websites
• Integrate Magento extensions, APIs, payment gateways & third-party services
• Customize Magento modules, themes & extensions
• Utilize PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript in Magento ecosystem
• Ensure responsive design, SEO optimization, and security best practices
• Manage databases and ensure scalability
• Maintain clean, documented code using Git
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot advanced backend/frontend issues
• Mentor junior developers and ensure quality project delivery
• Stay updated with Magento trends, tools & technologies
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions
• Implement debugging, testing & deployment processes

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional Magento/e-commerce development experience
• Magento Certification (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering
• Proven expertise in performance optimization & troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of Magento architecture, data models & security
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving & communication skills
• Fluency in English (verbal & written)
