Senior Manager

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure smooth Quality functioning at the projects. The role holder will support Lead – Quality in implementation of new techniques and Quality SOPs across the organization. Responsible for resolving quality related issues at sites & raise timely red flags to Manager. Ensure implementation of improved quality guidelines at projects. Responsible for quality inspections at projects as per the schedule and provide report to Manager. Prepare the monthly progress reports (MPRs) of assigned project sites for all the quality related issues and share the same with Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of quality related SOPs across all projects.
• Provide support to Lead in conceptualizing quality procedures & quality inspection standards.
• Raise any quality related concerns in the projects and provide suitable mitigation measures for critical quality related issues.
• Prepare a database for knowledge management with a collated view of the projects to cross leverage analytical insights so as to drive process optimization.
• Adherence of improved guidelines for handling of rejection at projects while using analytical techniques to realize cost benefits.
• Drive adoption & adherence to the quality guidelines by project teams.
• to the plan for co quality procedures and vehicle inspection standards. Monitor adherence of the design mix of materials on time while ensuring quality standards by the project team.
• Timely site visits as per the schedule & provide Quality related project reports to Manager.
• Assist Manager in coordination with the client and consultants for major quality related issues related to non-conformance reports and necessary quality approvals.
• Create the MPR and other reporting documentation for all the quality related issues and share the same with the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the capability development for the organization through training, workshops and evaluation of teams to drive quality awareness.
• Guide and monitor teams to review product quality levels through various tests and checks.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

• Diploma in Civil Engineering with 11-13 years’ experience in quality.
• B. Tech / M. Tech with 9-11 years’ experience in quality.
• Bachelor of Science/ Master of Science (Chemistry) with 10-12 years’ experience in quality.
• Experience in handling quality team on multiple project sites with a scope of around INR 500 cr + value.
