  1. JOB PURPOSE:

To developing and managing sales channels for both tenderized and trimmed meat products. and involves overseeing a team, establishing partnerships, analyzing market dynamics, and implementing effective channel strategies. The Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding market reach, maximizing revenue, and ensuring product availability through various distribution


  1. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic Contribution

  • Direct the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and implement the strategic agenda of the Protein department to deliver NADEC vision and mission.
  • Ensure that the strategy is translated into operational business plans for the Protein department and monitor the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the Company's strategy.

Leadership

  • Direct the activities of the Protein team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies and procedures.
  • Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals.
  • Serve as a role model to ensure employees' awareness and commitment to NADEC vision, mission, values, and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated team, and continuously improve performance.

Budgeting

  • Lead the preparation of the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

Core Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute Protein strategies sales plans for TT and Fresh Meat products, including retail, food service, and online platforms.
  • Lead and manage a team of Dairy supervisors, engineers, and technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of channel managers, providing strategic guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, quality metrics, and resource utilization, and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet targets.
  • Implement lean Protein principles, process optimization techniques, and best practices to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Develop pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies based on market insights and customer preferences.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand TT and Fresh Meat sales.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems throughout the maintenance operations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen, to enhance product quality, streamline operations, and increase overall customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director to develop and implement protein policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency, standardization, and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in Protein technologies, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Foster collaboration between channel managers, marketing, and sales teams to align strategies and ensure a unified approach.

Policies, System, Processes and Procedures

  • Manage the development and implementation of the Engineering policies, systems, processes, and procedures, identifying potential areas for improvement, to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.

Change Management

  • Motivate the employees and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering best practices.
  • Ensure that all departmental reports and statements are completed timely and comply with local and international principles of governance and the organization's policies and standards.

  • Sr. Mgr. Sales Ops. - Red Meat will be working in the assigned areas and might have to travel as and when needed.

  1. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 7-12 years of experience in in sales operations, experience in channel management, preferably in the TT and Fresh Meat industry with leadership role.
