Senior Manager- Civil

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager – Civil to lead and manage civil construction activities for power plants, coal handling plants, and other industrial infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive field experience, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality execution of large-scale civil and structural works.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end civil construction activities for power plant and coal handling infrastructure.
• Review project drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents for constructability.
• Develop work breakdown structures, execution strategies, and construction schedules.

2. Site & Construction Management

• Monitor civil and structural works such as foundations (machine & structural), RCC structures, equipment foundations, retaining walls, drainage systems, roads, and other utilities.
• Ensure timely mobilization of resources and uninterrupted progress at site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to design.

3. Contractor & Vendor Coordination

• Evaluate and finalize civil contractors and subcontractors in coordination with procurement.
• Manage contractor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to contract terms.
• Certify contractor measurements, progress, and billing.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of industrial civil works for power plants, coal handling systems, switchyards, and structural steel work etc.,
• Strong understanding of project management tools and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Should have good knowledge in Civil and Structural Works.
• Good coordination with client and as well as contractor.
• Should have experience in large capacity projects more than 300crs worth.
• Should have strong negotiable skills with contractor.
• Good technical knowledge in Construction works.
• Should have responsible for civil work certification.
• Good knowledge in cost management.
• Should have knowledge in plant and machinery.
• Review of drawings.
• Should have good communication skills.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Certifications in project management are advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
