We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our Client Accounting Services team. In this role, you will own client relationships, lead both our onshore accounting staff and offshore accounting team, and be the final reviewer of client financial statements before they reach clients. You will leverage your expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, and regulatory standards to foster accuracy, transparency, and strategic insight across all accounting functions. <Duties>
- Own a portfolio of client relationships — be their primary contact and trusted financial advisor.
- Present monthly and quarterly financial statements to clients, explaining results clearly and confidently.
- Manage and mentor both onshore accounting staff and our offshore accounting team, setting clear expectations and driving quality.
- Review all client accounting work product — financial statements, reconciliations, and close packages — before delivery.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes across multiple client accounts.
- Coordinate with our tax team to ensure client books are tax-ready.
- Drive process improvements and ensure consistent use of firm tools and best practices.
- Support client onboarding and team hiring/development initiatives. Lead and manage the end-to-end client accounting processes, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial report writing and interpretation for diverse clients
- Supervise the preparation of regulatory reports, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow analyses, and bank reconciliations to maintain integrity of financial data.
- Mentor and develop team members in technical accounting practices, including journal entries, accrual accounting, and account analysis.
- Utilize advanced accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks Online and other financial management tools to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Support client engagement by providing expert advice on financial management strategies, budgeting processes, and forecasting models.
<Requirements>
- 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a client-facing or leadership role.
- Experience managing onshore accounting staff and/or offshore or remote accounting teams is strongly preferred.
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification preferred; Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required.
- Strong command of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills — you can translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
- Background in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or CAS firm is a plus.
- Proven experience in corporate or public accounting with a strong background in financial statement preparation and general ledger reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting software including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks Online or similar platforms; familiarity with financial software for bookkeeping and account reconciliation is essential.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts like debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, cash flow analysis, and accrual accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately.
- Experience mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment while fostering professional development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
