We are seeking a Senior Manager of Data to lead a team of data engineers and AI/ML engineers in building and scaling our data infrastructure and advanced AI capabilities, preferably a hand on technical manager. This role will partner closely with data architects, product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure data is leveraged as a strategic asset across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Manage and mentor a team across data engineering and AI/ML engineering disciplines.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Data Infrastructure & Architecture

Collaborate with data and AI architects to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms.
Ensure data pipelines, storage, and processing systems meet performance and compliance standards.

AI/ML Enablement

Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI-Agents that support business objectives.
Ensure best practices in MLOps, model governance, and monitoring.

Business Partnership

Work with product, marketing, and operations teams to identify opportunities where data and AI can drive measurable impact.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely delivery.

Data Governance & Quality

Implement processes for data quality, lineage, and security.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

8+ years in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence background, or AI/ML roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with C# or Java is a plus.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern data architectures (e.g., lakehouse, streaming).
Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration like (Airflow, dbt), data warehouses like (Snowflake, Redshift), and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in SaaS or enterprise technology environments.
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau) and data visualization best practices.
Exposure to data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
