Job Purpose
The Senior Manager - Destination Operations Planning is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of mobility operations within the destination. This role ensures seamless guest transportation, efficient logistics, and the integration of sustainable and innovative mobility solutions, aligning with the company's vision of delivering world-class experiences.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Operations
- Develop and implement a comprehensive mobility operations strategy for the destination, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and a seamless guest experience.
- Oversee the planning and execution of multimodal transportation systems, including electric vehicles (EVs), autonomous transport, marine mobility, and last-mile connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., hospitality, guest experience, and security teams) to align transportation services with overall destination operations.
- Optimize route planning, fleet management, and scheduling to ensure operational excellence and cost efficiency.
- Engage with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and service providers to ensure compliance with local transport regulations and policies.
- Manage relationships with third-party transport providers, ensuring service quality, safety, and sustainability standards are met.
- Lead negotiations and contracts with mobility service providers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Technology & Innovation
- Identify and implement cutting-edge mobility technologies, such as smart traffic management systems, electric and autonomous vehicle fleets, and AI-driven route optimization.
- Leverage data analytics to improve mobility efficiency, predict demand, and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Work with technology partners to enhance digital mobility platforms, including ride-hailing apps, guest navigation systems, and automated scheduling tools.
Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility
- Ensure all mobility operations align with the company's sustainability goals by integrating eco-friendly transport solutions.
- Promote and implement sustainable transport initiatives, such as electric charging infrastructure, low-carbon transit options, and marine mobility solutions.
- Monitor and report on sustainability KPIs related to mobility operations.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and risk management strategies to ensure passenger and operational safety.
- Ensure compliance with local and international transport regulations, licensing, and environmental standards.
- Implement emergency response plans and contingency strategies for transportation disruptions.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a team of mobility planners and operations specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Provide strategic direction and professional development opportunities for the team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Planning, Mobility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mobility operations, transport planning, or large-scale destination logistics.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale transportation networks, ideally in hospitality, tourism, or urban mobility.
- Experience working with government agencies, transport regulators, and technology providers.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable transport solutions, smart mobility technologies, and integrated transport planning.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in mobility analytics, transport modeling, and digital mobility solutions.
- Strong financial and budget management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
